In the post, it says that there isn’t a drive-mode selector switch. What is the drive-mode? Can anyone explain it to me?

Drive-mode is one of the most basic things in a car. It depends on many things, like, steering, weight, engine etc. Its alternative option is sports mode. Here, follow this basic article to read more details:

The Kia Niro is a sharp looking little car - will certainly be competition for the Prius, but not sure it will beat the Ioniq!
